What is the LEAD Conference?

“Tech@LEAD” is part of the LEAD conference – a  place where leaders and newcomers in the field of access to the cultural arts for individuals with disabilities and older adults can meet and mingle with peers, learn about the latest technological advances, get the straight talk on legal issues, and contribute to the collective knowledge base of what does and doesn’t work for building and engaging audiences, patrons, and visitors of all ages and abilities. Thank you to all the organizers and participants. It was a very thought-provoking and worthwhile day. I know there was talk of doing it again next year and expanding it to 2 or 3 days. I would love to see a two-day event where the first day was the big-picture, what’s-new0and-innovative day, and the second day we broke up into focus areas (exhibits, audio-description, AV, etc.) to brainstorm concrete applications of new technologies to these specific area. Thanks again.
